All Scripture is God-breathed, fully authoritative, and sufficient for every good work. We are committed to proclaiming God’s Word as the means by which His people grow in love, are equipped as disciples, and become faithful witnesses of the Gospel.

In Acts 1, we are reminded that God is actively at work even in seasons of waiting, calling His people to be faithful before they are sent. As the disciples gather in prayer, we see hearts being shaped through dependence, unity, and trust, while examples like Mary’s steady faith and Judas’ failure reveal that God both sustains and searches the heart. Though the mission ahead feels uncertain, Jesus promises power through the Holy Spirit and redirects His followers to what matters most: being His witnesses. This passage invites us to remain devoted in the ordinary, trust God’s timing, and step forward in faith, knowing He equips and leads those He calls.
I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.
