Belshazzar’s feast exposes the danger of pride, as the king mocks God, trusts in his own resources, and ignores the lessons God already revealed through Nebuchadnezzar. When the writing appears on the wall, Daniel reminds him that God holds his breath, directs his steps, and will judge every heart that refuses to humble itself. Daniel 5 calls us to reject false securities, embrace humility, and anchor our confidence in the unshakable kingdom of Christ.
